The mysteries

During the Holy Week before Easter, the city of Cagliari is crossed by numerous processions celebrating the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, according to ancient customs of Spanish origin. The rites of Holy Week are called Is Misterius (the Mysteries).

Is Misterius

Durante la Settimana Santa che precede la Pasqua, la citta di Cagliari viene attraversata da numerose processioni che celebrano la passione, la morte e la resurrezione di Gesù Cristo, secondo antichissime usanze di origine spagnola. I riti della Settimana Santa vengono chiamati Is Misterius (i Misteri).
